When it was first revealed a year back at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, it created a lot of hype among the car enthusiasts. Now, as we’re in 2012, the Skoda Vision D is not actually a car, but it’s just a vision, a design and a concept which Skoda has been planning to apply for last few years. Let’s see what’s the inside news of the Skoda Vision D!
Design Direction: Welcome the Future
Vision D is a design direction for Skoda. It is more or less about the Octavia replacement which actually is working as the gaping hole between the posh and the budget-cars. With Vision D, as it seems, Skoda wants to show how the future Octavia replacement can look like.
Vision D Stands for Dynamism
Vision D, Skoda’s future design concept gives us a hint where Skoda is heading to. A lot of Skoda enthusiasts have already shifted toward the other popular VW-owned car manufacturers like Porsche – so it is a high time for a promising car manufacturing company like Skoda to stand up to its potential and show the world what it has got. With the Vision D concept, Skoda is, as it seems, trying to fight back and earn a place for itself among the big brothers like VW, Audi and Porsche. The Vision D concept, as it looks like, promises to provide a design of the future Skoda cars where the appearance of the cars are going to be dynamic as in forms and shapes – plus it will enhance the outlook of the Skoda cars to a great extent. Actually, the Vision D marks the future steps of Skoda.
While Skoda fans will be quite pleased to that their favorite car brand is looking forward to some dynamism regarding the styles and forms of the future cars, but it is also true that they would like to see some genuine application of such promises. With the way Skoda is moving with the Vision D, it seems good going so far.
