With some genuinely distinctive features Volkswagen is planning to release the EcoRacer in not so distant future. As the name suggests, the EcoRacer will produce great mileage – so that’s pretty much understandable. But do you know this isn’t the only thing that makes this car a distinctive one? Well, if you don’t, then read on about this very nice concept car from Volkswagen.
Mileage Mileage Mileage!
Yes, that’s the tagline! The EcoRacer will be a mileage king as it will run more than 100 miles per gallon. This is one of the biggest surprises from the VW company and undoubtedly it is a pretty necessary one. Provided that we are running out of natural resources every minute, the less a car can consume the better it is for everyone. In that case, we think the EcoRacer can set a new standard of eco-cars around the world!

Speed and Performance
VW’s the EcoRacer is not only capable of consuming very low level of fuel but also it provides quite a good level speed as well. In most of the eco-cars we see that most of them don’t get that much speed and overall compromise the performance – but not with the EcoRacer. It’s capable of getting up to 230 km/h maximum which is really pretty good for an eco-car. Also, the acceleration performance is great as well – getting up to 100 km/h within just 6.3 seconds of starting up the car.

The Body
The EcoRacer’s body will be really lightweight – as expected. Volkswagen’s engineers have really seen to that and it’s a delightful thing to see that the EcoRacer is going lightweight-way. Thanks to the carbon-fibre body, this Volkswagen future car’s weight is going to be about 850 kilograms which is amazing. All things considered, it seems the EcoRacer is going to bring smile to a lot of people’s faces!
