A car comparison is always fun to see and especially when the brand is Porsche then the fun just gets double! Yes, truly the Porsche Panamera 4 and the Panamera S Hybrid are two of the Porsche’s most popular cars in today’s market and it isn’t a surprise that a lot of car enthusiasts will find this head to head comparison pretty entertaining. Here’s what these two Porsche Panamera models have to offer:

The Engines

The Panamera 4 comes with a slightly less powerful engine in terms of the horsepower handling factor than the Panamera S Hybrid and that somehow gives the Hybrid an edge. The 300hp engine from the Panamera 4 can certainly be beaten by the more powerful 380hp engine of the S Hybrid which means the latter Porsche model is better in the power sector.

Performance Comparison

As for the performance section, the Panamera 4 also lags behind the much anticipated S Hybrid model. The Hybrid comes with a greater level of top speed rated at 167 miles per hour while the Panamera 4 can only make it to 159 mph – so there’s another winner for S Hybrid. However, in terms of acceleration the two models are quite evenly matched. As the Panamera 4 takes 5.8 seconds to hit the 60 mph mark, the Panamera S Hybrid manages to do it just a fraction 0.1 second lesser time than that. So that means that acceleration-wise the S Hybrid makes hits the same mark within 5.7 seconds of starting up.
