The 911 Carrera comes with a 350 horsepower engine that provides 7,400 rpm and most of the Porsche lovers will not really laugh with joy about it. However, it isn’t bad either if you look at the price that it comes with. So for this price, this level of horsepower is acceptable. On the other hand, the 911 Carrera comes with a 400hp engine which is an increase of 50hp – so that’s something!

Performance Comparison

The 911 Carrera comes with a top track speed of 179 mph and that would be more than adequate for most users. Such a high speed feature is really a bonus for the 911 fans and surely most of the 911 enthusiasts will just love it. The acceleration of the 911 Carrera is also impressive, as it takes only 4.6 seconds to reach 60 mph. On the other hand, the Carrera S has a top speed of 188 miles per hour and the acceleration level is also slightly better than the Carrera base model as it takes 0.3 seconds lesser time than the previous one.
