It’s no news that ten brands at Volkswagen plan to come up with 32 models in the next five years. It is expected that all this will make Volkswagen the World’s Largest Automaker in 2018. So, here are some details related to Volkswagen’s product plan.

There will be three platforms that include MSB for AWD/RWD front-, mid- and rear-engined vehicles like the Porsche 960, MQB for transverse FWD/AWD cars like the VW Golf and MLB for the longitudinal FWD/AWD vehicle like Audi.

One of the most expected vehicels is Porsche 960 said to be a model that would connect the 911 to the 918.

According to Automobile’s Georg Kacher, Porsche 960 will use the MSB-M platform just like Lamborghini Aventador and Porsche Cayman/Boxster. The 960 doesn’t appear on the rear-engined MSB-H or front-engined MSB-F cars list. They say the car will sport a twin-turbo flat-six engine and will be a Ferrari-fighting “four-door coupe”. Still, these details may change as time passes by but as soon as we get new information, we’ll let you know about it.
