Buying a car is definitely not that easy. And we’re not talking about the money problem. We’re talking about what aspects one should take into account before purchasing the vehicle. Well, if you’re interested in getting a coupé, then there are two options you might want to take into account, both of them worthy of paying attention to. There’s Audi A5 and there’s BMW 335i. Two remarkable brands, two beautiful cars and one decision to make. Well, if you find yourself in this kind of a situation, then it means you’re lucky. Not everybody affords one of the two cars but that’s not the point. The idea is that both of them come with specifications worthy of being taken into account. Let us remind you the characteristics the two cars actually come up with. You decide which one is better.
Audi A5 is produced by the German automobile manufacturer since 2007 and if we’re talking about the latest model year, then we should mention that the 2012 Audi A5 is definitely something. With this model, the German automaker goes on with its departure from the outgoing design language the brand has come up with so far. Featuring the classic coupé proportions as well as an aggressive face, Audi A5 comes with just one engine option which is a 211 horsepower 2.0-liter DOHC engine with FSI direct-injection and a turbocharger.
The vehicle sports either a six-speed manual transmission which means 21 city mpg and 31 highway mpg sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds or the Tiptronic automatic transmission which allows the car to achieve 29 highway mpg and a sprint from 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds.
Now, BMW is also coming with some goodies when talking about its 335i coupé. With this vehicle, BMW continues the evolution of the 3-series toward a platonic ideal of sportiness. Everything just seems natural when it comes to the steering, the suspension, the brakes, the seats and all the other elements.
335i has a new with 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with high-precision fuel injection and a single twin-scroll turbocharger. Thanks to this, the car is pushed from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds and delivers 300HP at 5800 rpm. BMW 335i comes with 8-speed automatic transmission which means 19 city mpg and 28 highway mpg. Each of the two cars reaches a top speed of 130 mpg.
Well, things get a little complicated when choosing which one of the two cars looks better as both of them have a nice design. Audi A5 and BMW 335I are worth taking home or hitting the road. It is obvious that those who are into BMWs will stick to 335i and those who are into Audi will prefer A5. Let us know which one you’d go for in the comments section below.
