The British from Overland Motorhomes have developed a Transporter which doubles its capacity, turning the van in a motorhome.

The advantages of a motorhome are combined with the ease in operation offered by a van. This seems to be the basic idea in the Overland Motorhomes mind when they started the DoubleBack project, built on well-known Volkswagen Transporter platform.

The main atraction of the car is the extensible module located in the cargo space. Once chosen the campsite, the embedded caravan slides out of the car, and while this process, support legs are unfolded from the module. Moreover roof section has a extensible section, which significantly increase the interior space.
