The British from Auto Express claim they know the look of the new generation Audi TT. What do you think, will it be successful with this shape?

The third generation of the Audi TT has to appear on the market at the end of 2013, and those from Auto Express give us a preview of the new car.

From a visual standpoint, there is a close image relationship with Audi‘s e-tron, a concept that was presented in Detroit in 2010. The front looks more aggressive than the current generation and it is dominated by a huge central grid, while the nice contoured headlamps are flanked by two vertical slots, providing Audi TT a very aggressive front.

The idea continues in the back, where LED lights are united by a median rod, and their shape is maintained by the discharges, the connection between them is accomplished through ventilation slots, all vertical, as in the front side.

The new Audi TT will impress with a prominent median edge, curved, that highlights its very large rims, while its ceiling form remembers quite clearly by the previous two generations. Another important point is that the new Audi TT is not likely to be confused or to enter into direct competition with its VAG “cousin” Porsche Cayman.

And this because Audi TT will remain 2+2 seater coupe, that will be built on the technical platform of the new Volkswagen Golf 7 – so it will have a front engine, while traction is both to the front and 4WD. Audi engineers still boast that the new generation will be much easier and the handling will be great improved.

The new Audi TT will be ready at the end of 2013, and shortly thereafter will be available the roadster version, with only two seats and a soft top.
