Volkswagen recalled 300,000 cars for checks, equipped with a type of two-liter diesel engine for possible damage to the lines that supply fuel injection system (Reuters).

The company’s U.S. division recalled in October for similar problems 168,275 models of Golf, Jetta and Audi A3 all sold in the United States.
BMW also announced the recall of 235,000 Mini sold worldwide because of problems that can cause overheating electronics.

BMW recall affects 89,000 vehicles sold in the U.S. and 22,000 in circulation in Germany.

According to American authorities, the models concerned are Mini Cooper, Cooper S, Clubman, Cooper JCW and Countryman.
