It’s brace of Shanghai specials from Bugatti. Capitalising on the expanding Chinese market, the hypercar maker unvuiled two new special editions on its stand at the recent auto show.

The first was a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport finished in matt white, with contrasting blue carbon fibre and alloy wheels. The matching blue cabin featured with stitching.

Joining it was a menacing special edition of the world’s fastest-ever production car, the 16.4 Super Sport, which made its Asian debut. It was cloaked in black carbon fibre inside and out, with details such as the alloy wheels, filler cap and Bugatti logos all finished in polished aluminium.

In fact, so seductive was this model that Bugatti claims the Super Sport show car has already been sold – despite costing more than 3million Pounds doe to stringent Chinese import taxes.
