We thought that the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 will be a “last cry” of the current generation of Porsche 911 (997), until the new one this autumn. But it seems that the engineers in Stuttgart have passed again over the list of 911 current and found to be missing one, actually two: both of GTS coupe, and convertible, with only rear-wheel drive. So, ladies and gentlemen, Porsche presents the latest wrinkle – 911 Carrera 4 GTS.

911 Carrera 4 GTS
This means that 3.8-liter engine that develops 408 horse power is transmitted to all four wheels via the Porsche Traction Management (PTM). Among standard equipment and include a limited-slip differential. Acceleration 0-100 requires GTS Carrera 4′s 4.6 seconds (4.8 for the convertible version). If you opt for dual-clutch PDK box, you can also cut 0.2 seconds of your time, and some thicker wallet file. Speed ??has not been declared, but is estimated at 300 kilometers per hour. And you believe it or not, the average consumption is not more than 12 l/100 km.

911 Carrera 4 GTS
The model will be available for sale starting in June 2011. The price, compared with rear-wheel drive GTS model is increased by approximately 5,800 euros – the coupe will cost somewhere around 95,000 euros and the convertible version – around 103,000 euros.
